Join the Touchwood Project and help us grow.
We’re a non-profit social enterprise, so your money helps us buy basic supplies and continue developing (and to be honest, it’s just so exciting when we get that little PayPal notice in our inbox saying another person believes in what we’re doing. That’s my favourite part.)
By becoming a Friend, you will help make happen:
- frugal and green projects like Power Off and homemade Christmas gifts
- the annual Orkney Fire Festival
- future Skara Brae eco lodge
What will I get?
You’ll receive an email newsletter with upcoming courses and events, including training you’ll have first dibs on.
You’ll also get access to the Lending Library we’re soon starting up with books on crafts, bushcraft and outdoor survival, and personal development. All Friends will be able to check out books not available at the library on these subjects.
Support = Successful Funding
While we’re doing this for free now, our goal is to get funding in summer 2010. To do that, funders want to know that people are interested in what you’re doing.
By giving £5, you’re not just helping to buy basic supplies, you’re showing potential funders you support us so they’ll be much more likely to fund us.
A huge list of signatures says a whole lot more when it’s backed up with money out of people’s pockets.
