So I'll just say, before staggering/waddling to bed: too cool! I'd never have thought of making a lamp like this! I've only ever thought of candles and glass-and-metal oil lamps. I did wonder an awful lot about, "How would we light our house if we had to rely on materials from Orkney?" (You know, like... what if things went bad and we had limited to no electricity and we couldn't order or buy candles for whatever reason?) It's nice to know that there is a lovely solution with everything available right here on the islands! :-) Goodnight. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
